Strawberry sauce

I must admit that the strawberry sauce is one of the best choices to accompany a lot of desserts and cookies. We can even add it to our yogurt, our ice cream, to cheesecakes and wherever we want. Enjoyable and aromatic!
Ingredients

- 2.5 cups strawberries cut into pieces
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water or strawberry juice
- 1 tbsp corn flour
Preparation

In a saucepan put the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice.

Wait until it starts bubbling…

and lower the temperature so that the syrup simmers and coagulates. Stir gently a few times. This process will take about 15 minutes.

If the sauce’s density is satisfactory then take it off the heat and let it cool. But if you want it thicker, then dissolve the cornflour in water or juice and add it to the sauce, while stirring.

Let it boil for a minute and remove from heat.
Enjoy!
